I think putting a man on the moon may have been, in social terms, one of our worst accomplishments.  Since then, any intractable problem (war, poverty, etc.) is compared to the moon landing.  

Live is risk because vulnerability and threats are everywhere.  When someone has "solved crime," then we can think about "solving security."  Obviously I think this will not happen.</description>
